Microsoft began giving away Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut for free to XBox Live Gold members today. It and launch title Crimson Dragon are the free "Games with Gold" titles for August. Originally a PC game with a Kickstarter push, SSZ debuted as the first space sim on next gen consoles this past spring. The developers frequently cite Wing Commander, X-Wing and other classic '90s shooters as inspirations for the title. Reviews are somewhat mixed, but space sim fans seem to like it. The game looks sharp on an HDTV, and you can't beat the price!

Game description: In the year 2299, an interstellar war rages. Take control of the Strike Suit a?? a craft with the ability to transform into a hulking suit of space armor - in a bid to save Earth from destruction. I always thought the games4gold games were thesame worldwide.. I got Motorcross Madness on the 1th of August...

Most of the time they are, though due to local restrictions, they may have to provide a different game. A few times this has happened in Europe.

For PS+, both North American, European and Japanese PSNs have offered completely different games, so it can get confusing since most of the time they refer to the North American PSN, but it could also be Europe Only or Japan only.

So far for Xbone, the games are the same.

Two different lists exist - one for Xbone and one for Xbox 360. If you use the website, you can "buy" the games for the system you don't have so when you do get one, it'll be there and waiting for you.
