I don't think it's anything too exciting. The movie had a LOT of lines in the background (AD cut up the DVD version and found a dozen or so ship names mentioned in it!) so they just had everyone record that kind of thing. The guy who ran the big Wing Commander movie website has a noticeable line, too.
