OK Here's a zinger... Which is longer and by how much?

Here goes... The Vesuvius or the Behemoth? :) I really couldn't give an answer... which is why I'm deferring to the community. This information will likely be used in Wing Commander: Invasion. ;)

well for behemoth I have listed in my files

Freaking Huge

And for the vesuvius

smaller than the behemoth

that help?

From memory - no doubt LOAF will correct:

Vesuvius: 1600m
Behemoth: 11 000m
Kilrathi Dreadnought: 22 000m

It is indeed long, especially when considering that its weight is only 290,000 tonnes. But it's also very cool. :)

Yeah, when I first saw the Dreadnought's stats in my WC3 manual, I thought that someone had made a typo. I've never seen it except in the WC3 cutscenes; I couldn't survive long enough in the Earth mission to see it...

The dreadnought is one of the ugliest damn thing's I've ever seen. Kilrathi ships are all gunbristly and ugle, and asymmetrical as hell. Ugh.

a lot of cat ships are pretty symmetrical.
Some just look stupid.
Like the Khorlar!!!! uggghhh

then some look pretty cool cause they are assymetrical.

Like the bloodfang and the darket.

All WC1 and WC2 ships (along with Privateer) are symetrical... it's a limitation of the engine.

I prefer the WC3+ Kilrathi ships, it's the ones in the movie which bother me. They look too human.

What a beautiful ship!

Indeed!

I think most Kilrathi ships look cool, though I found the Gratha (the PC as well as the SWC ship ;) ) to be a bit too human in design. But she does still look good, just not too Kilrathi.

For some reason I just like the look fo the krant. I always thought it would be cool to be able to fly one of those in privateer. Like escorting a ship like in p2.

I dunno, I've always just liked the sound of Krant. I could say that all day. Krant Krant Krant Krant.

Seriously though, although I've always loved the way the original Dralthi looked, it was the stupidest design I've ever seen. Seriously, what were the benefits of making the wings so incredibly long that you could only see straight ahead?
