Need Prophecy map with borders

No. Everyone else is welcome to cut as much slack as they want. Go ahead guys, cut him some more slack; there's plenty of slack to cut. Enough slack to go around, so cut away.

But slack-cutting isn't my thang, know what I'm sayin'?

Fine. I know better than to argue with you people. :)

Now...what are we talking about here? :)

Yeah, the Armada playtesters guide came with eleven sector maps... I'll try and scan them and format them nicely later.

So LOAF....?

Where would you say, the tri-system and the armada sectors, exist in relationship to the WCP map?

1.Are they, above or below, (the galactic plane shown in the WCP map)?

2. Are they in latitude 1-2,which are left off the map(3-8 are shown on the WCP map)?

3. Are they south of latidude 8?

4. Are they left of longitude A?

5,Are they right of longitude F?

Where do you think each of the 11 sectors and tri-system sectors, lie in relation to the WCP map?

They're above or below the current map -- Confed/Kilrah only inhabits the 2D slice of the galaxy we see (with the Landreich and Grovsner/Eutruria off to the left and right, I suppose).

The Tri-System is *probably* spinward.

So do the Landreich and Grovsner share any borders with the Border Worlds Union? Also, from what we know, what are their sizes and relative military/technological/economic capabilities relative to the Union?

Best, Raptor

Landreich borders the UBW -- and they've got a much more serious military than the Union does... they've bought up escort carriers, restored the karga, are producing shipyards and have a fleet of light cruisers (since they plan to face off against Confed:)). Not much is nown about Grovsner/Eutruria, save that it's on the opposite side of the Confederation's border. The Landreich and the Border Worlds are "allies", I suppose -- Kruger supplied the UBW militia during thw two week war...

I'm working on updating the Prophecy map with (at first) the Armada sectors: http://www.blacklance.org/loaf/sector1-wcp.jpg

Now that's really cool.

Oh and Madman: I am sorry, I couldn't resist. But I think your question has now been answered by others, more serious posters (the Armada map in the playtesters guide). :)

As you have the trouble, just give them any names you want. ;) Of course, then it wouldn't be official but still...
Anyway, happy working...

No, the names are from the original map -- I just want a font that looks more like the original Prophecy version than this one does.

Oh sorry, I thought you sought for better names than "Sector1" and so on. I messed up your post, I was not quick-witted enough to realize "fonr" meant font, so I just discarded it. Very bad thing to do

That map looks good, LOAF... two questions, though. How do you determine which system belongs to whom (is this perhaps showed on those Playtesters' Guide maps?), and do you have any plans to show how these sectors link up to the main map? That's the bit that would really be interesting...

I determined who controls which system by the 'reccomended' systems for each side that accompanied the maps -- and when two sides were told to take the same system, I made it a Border World. :)

I'll probably name the sectors after their Confed capitals -- where you start each mission as a Confed carrier.

I *would* like to link it up with the rest of the Prophecy map... but we'll see <G>

Sounds like a reasonable solution, considering the lack of other information. Though, I daresay, the Border Worlders might object to that definition of their territory ;).

Very cool.

And very well done. I think you made correct discisions.

Do you think you could also attach the tri-sysem area to the new improved map, your making?
