The name Jukaga reminds me of the Japanese carrier Kagga in the Battle of Midway.

I don't like the Kilrathi name Kirha. Is that supposed to be pronounced "Kee-ruh?"

Hey, why does Paladin (or more specifically John Rhys-Davies) call the Kilrathi the "Kilrahi?" I've always wondered about that.

It's his accent.

I just watched a National Geographic last week about Midway, but other than those three I can't remeber any others. Those might have been it. But the special was pretty interesting. Some of the American pilots were talking about how the Japanese ships were bright orange and yellow, creating a sort of beacon for the bombers. Sorry, that's off-topic, I know.

Bright orange, well then in Blair's words "they look Kilrathi"!

LOL

I used to know every carrier in the South Pacific. Scary eh? I can find out the names easily enough if you like I could email them to you dralthi.

Dralthi and Death's Head: the clan you speak of is Ki'ra, and it's(if sources are right, if not, their bad.) pronouced "Kee-rah"(like She-Ra)

Pay attention Cmdr_X. They're not talking about a clan, they're talking about Kirha. A character from FF, and FA. I realy enjoyed FF, after Kirha was given to Hunter by Hobbes the novel became so funny.

Hurrah, Cmdr_X is back with fake sources and wacky screwups...

Kirha (the cat oathsworn to hunter) is pronounced 'keera', like Major Kira on DS9.

Ki'ra (Baron Jukaga's clan) is pronounced Kai-rah.

LOAF: It's Colonel Kira now. Yep, she's got promoted and a new hair style (as in each previous seasons of DS9!)

And I avoid studying whenever possible.

Since I was the only one in my group who could read English I read a few English books on Midway and wrote down notes in French for my freinds to read.

Do you remember the names of any of the American ships besides Yorktown? I have a list, but I'm too lazy to look for it right now.

Ah, so some people here watch Deep Space Nine. Cool. I like Vic Fontaine. He pretty much sings all Sinatra, and I'm a fan of his music. Sorry, off-topic again! I know.

I know Lexington was there, but IIRC it was destroyed.

. Oh, before I forget. Have you got any contact with Kokonut?

Earthworm: I thought it was the Yorktown that was destroyed?

Yeah, Yorktown was sunk at Midway. The first Lexington went down during the Battle of the Coral Sea in 1942. The second Lexington is a museum at Corpus Christi, TX. So really I just answered my own question.

Kinda in a hurry right now, but I can think of Hornet, Yorktown, Essex, Enterprise, Lexington, that's all I can remember as far as fleet carriers go they had a rumber of light and escort carriers later in the war, not to mention amphibious assault ships.

I remember the Enterprise... We flew off the Enterprise in Pacific Strike. I liked Pacific Strike. It was the only WWII flight simulator with characters and story. A pity the flight engine was so full of Nephil... I mean, bugs.
