Yes, you are right. Of course they Kilrathi still think they are superior to the humans, but they do consider them as useful at least. Of course there are still Kilrathi who want to see whole mankind enslaved but the official imperial line is to keep the humans as allies.
 
The Kilrathi decreed in 2668 that they would completely wipe out humanity -- not even keep us as slaves.
