Mark Hamill Article...

I didn't buy SeaQuest, the talking dolphin ("Darwin", right?) was just too much. About as believeable as a mechanical daggit, in my opinion.

He didn't talk any different than regular dolphins do, a little machine translated for us.

Time to play Frosty's Choose You Own Reply!
  1. Yeah dude, robots are waaaay far out man. About as unbelievable as anything.
  2. As opposed to non-mechanical daggits?
Pick whichever you like best!

Furthermore, a Japanese company has produced such a device that successfully translates the basics of a dog's barking, and has a feline equivalent in the works. Although I'm certain the speech isn't anywhere near as coherent as Darwin's was, this is some small evidence that it could happen.

So there.

Gee...I mention a talking dolphin and a mechanical daggit, and everyone thinks I'm being serious (save Col.Dom). Are console gamers really that dense, Frosty?

(FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THOUGHT MY LAST STATEMENT WAS SERIOUS, I ASSURE YOU IT WAS MADE IN JEST AND WAS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO OFFEND ANY OF OUR CONSOLE GAMER FRIENDS)

I've had enough of your flame campaign against me, Frosty. Do I really have to file a complaint?

Hey, anyone got that "pissing contest in progress" picture? I think it would fit here pretty well! :)

Can your argument Sycorax. Getting into pissing contests with CIC veterans is not a good way to start off a reputation around here.

Very well, but frankly I really don't need Frosty comming after me. Veteran or not, it isn't respectful.

I appologize for all the remarks I've made, and I really have tried to be a positive contributor around here.

Oddly this doesn't ooze sarcasm:
"I didn't buy SeaQuest, the talking dolphin ("Darwin", right?) was just too much. About as believeable as a mechanical daggit, in my opinion."
It does however, follow your "whoops I said something stupid, lets try and cover" trend.

Then you probably shouldn't have "threatened" him in the first place.

That aside, is there any difference between the mechanical daggit and an Aibo?

But BSG is set is a far off part of the Universe, Tech is a lot different

Twiki is the best robot ever.

Clearly you have never experienced the joy of HK-47. Amongst his seemingly rusty innards there is not only the well honed and intelligent mind of a protocol droid, but there are also numerous combat subroutines and, in fact, the protocol droid was once an assassin.

But I'd expect as much from a meatbag such as yourself.
