Sparks, hell yeah!! After a hard mission, when I climb out of that cockpit (enter the Baywatch style camera action), and see that red-haired, green-eyed, cute little gal flirt with me, she is absolutely..wonderful company...if you know what I mean.:)

Sparks: Cheerful, knew her stuff, didn't act like a ho around you... and she really did have a lovely fuselage. :D

Maverick: I saw you working on that other Sabre earlier. Nice fuselage.
Sparks: Why, thank you, Colonel.
Maverick: I was talking about the Sabre…

i'd have to say sparks. rachel would have been my fav, but she is such a bitch in prophecy that it cancels out anything good she had in WC3

.

How did that sweet emerald-eyed girl do that?

Be careful in your answer,..... that's my cartoon girl you're talking about.

Had to go with Sparks on this one, though I was tempted to go wth Maya. That whole fall in love from afar thing kindof gets to me (huge hopeless romantic).

Well...

Sparks: Heard about Spirit, Christopher. I’m sorry.
Maverick: She flew straight into that space station, like destroying it was more important than her life. All of her torpedoes exploded on impact… And I couldn’t do anything to save her. I’ll never forget the last words she said to me… “Tengoku de omachishi te imasu”… I will wait for you in Heaven. Sparks, she knew her fiancé was on that station… She told me, and I didn’t tell anyone, or do anything to stop her…
Sparks: It’s not your fault, sir. I’ve seen it before… she didn’t want to come back.

To be honest, I feel it was more sabotage, if you take another look at things.

There's some great movies where Rachel rubs people the *right* way ;)

Yes, yes, so I've heard. :)

Not only is the deep moral fiber of Sparks (aka Janet McCullough) being questioned, now I find out her eyes are really BROWN! A red-headed, brown-eyed lass? Memories and reality...........sheesh

I'm sorry, but I feel so dirty around Rachel Papilloma in WCIII and WCP, even with only cyber-reality

No, I'm not saying that. Here, let's go through the games in slow motion and see what we can find.

Item: Spirit was, by all accounts, someone who did not believe in suicide. She talked about death, which was fair enough, believing the way of the warrior is death, but she mentions death in suicide context only when it comes to choosing betrayal. Spirit: Hello, Maverick. I have been sitting here, thinking. My fiancé… what if he has been captured, like those poor souls aboard the Gwenhyvar? Captured, and forced to betray his own people, over and over again? It is a fate too horrible to contemplate. I will tell you now, if I were to be captured… I think I would rather die. Better that than the dishonour and shame of what happened to the Gwenhyvar’s crew.
Item: Spirit was royally pissed when the Kilrathi took her fiance. So she had every reason to fight and make the Kilrathi's lives a living hell. Spirit: Good morning, Maverick. I hope you had a good flight. I just returned from escorting that research ship, the TCS Tsiolkovsky, to their jump out-system. And I’ve received the final report from Epsilon Station. They confirmed that my fiancé was captured by the Kilrathi.
Knight: I’m sorry, Mariko. I wish there was something we could do.
Spirit: I thought that he could be rescued, that there was a chance of it – but I cannot lie to myself any longer. I have never truly hated the Kilrathi, even though they caused my father’s death… not until now.

Item: Spirit had fantasies of kicking ass and taking names if it meant freeing her fiance, and her words chill me even today. This is one of the reasons I think she rules. Spirit: Hello, Christopher. It is beautiful here, isn’t it? I’ve always loved stargazing. Sometimes I wonder if Philip is out there, watching these stars from a Kilrathi planet.
Maverick: Mariko, the Kilrathi captured your fiancé ten years ago. There’s no chance he’s still alive by now.
Spirit: Oh, Maverick, I used to dream of rescuing him… I’d fly in, guns blazing, and steal him from the Kilrathi.

Item: Something apparently went wrong with her Epee fighter, and we know how much sabotage was going on. Maverick: Spirit, stay on my wing…
Spirit: Maverick! Something’s blown! Meron’s dead… I’m losing air pressure…
Maverick: Mariko, bail out!
Spirit: No… not this time, Maverick. Tengoku de omachishi te imasu!
Maverick: Spirit!

Item: It's a known fact that Colson wanted to kill off the Tiger's Claw pilots, and was obviously behind the other sabotage. Jazz: Maverick. What a pleasant surprise.
Maverick: Why’d you do it, Jazz? How could they convince you to betray the Confederation?
Jazz: I didn’t betray anyone, you fool. You betrayed me! You let my brother die, you son of a bitch!
Maverick: What are you talking about?
Jazz: Ten years ago, the Kilrathi attacked Goddard Colony. The Tiger’s Claw was supposed to defend those people. But you detoured to attack an enemy troopship! My brother died with everyone else on Goddard… all because of you, you and the Tiger’s Claw! I swore I’d kill everyone on that blasted ship – And I nearly did. Spirit was so easy… and I only had four to go… you, Angel, Paladin, and Maniac.

What's your point, Phillip? It was sabotage, but Sparks was right anyway. After the explosion, Spirit still had a chance to eject. She chose not to, because she didn't want to come back.

Wow, Phillip, what an analysis!

I'm so shallow: I just like to blow stuff up.

P.S. - Repeat after me: "It's only a game,.......it's only a game,....".. :D :D
