Does the Kilrathi eat human meat?

I liked the miniseries. It looked far more artistic that the movie in my opinion. My main complaint is that no one can do Gurney Halleck like Patrick Stewart did!

Sadic: iirc in the book, the Sardaukar were disguised as Harkonnen troops.

Forsty: the Bene Gesserit and Fremen were pretty much identifible by the way they behaved, rather than any physical image. Irulan (Virginia Madsen in the Lynch film) was BG trained, and she didn't do the whole black robes thing.

[BTW, no offence $torm...that was just funny, if you know what I mean ;)]

im gone for a week and you think you can just crawl out of the woodwork?
well atleast nobody put it into thier sigs

Dune? Again? Didn't we have a discussion about 2 weeks or so, ago? :)
I still got the book to read, but at the moment I read more important books. You'll never know which....:D

Dak : you're right ! But they are also described on the homeworld of the Corino House. Like in the miniserie. And what I saw is prety near of what I imagined ! So I found them cool...
Fishbone : You're right too ! If I remember well the discussion started because the serie was on air in Germany. This new one has started because it will soon be on the air in Argentina and because it is now in France...
If you like sci-fi (and I'm pretty sure you are, if you're a wc fan !), I'm sure you will really like reading Dune !

Maybe i´m nuts... but i really want a miniseries with God-Emperor of Dune, was the second best book of Dune IMO,the excelency in Dune is how Herbert speak about religion, ecology, the future, all in one feudal civilization and the collapse of that form of governement.

I liked the miniseries. And I bought the book. Isn't that enough evidence? I just got more important things to read. Math-books. :D
And you're right, I am SF-fan. Absolutely.

What channel is it on in France? And what times of the week?

It's on Canal+
Every Tuesday at 8:35pm.
It is broadcasted other days in the afternoon too.

Canal+?
Never heard about it. But maybe to extrapolate my French knowledge I should...Maybe I'll search the channel. Does it come via satellite? If yes, via which one?

Canal+ is a private channel, and you need a special decoder to get it... :(
I suppose it's not in "clair"... (visible without decoder)

Okay. We also have such channels in Germany, which aren't avaiable for free. It's stupid. So then I can forget that. But now I just know why I never heard about it. The family I was guest during my echange visit time (1 week) didn't have such expensive programs (in Germany that coded programs are quite expensive)...:)
