Covert ops bases orbiting Kilrah

Angel may have gone because of her experience with Kilrathi transports. (They went to Kilrah on a captured 'sport...).

THe point is that Angel's team was sent in specifically to build those bases so that they could house the tembler bomb parts. Angel and the others went in, hollowed out some asteroids, made them atmosphere sustaining, and dropped off parts and supplies for fighters who would be using them. Angel's team got caught. Blair's team was discovered and they were cloaked. How many covert teams do you think they were sending in? How many do you think they COULD have gotten in? Especially after the Kilrathi found out that we had used one of their transports to get that close to them.

To quote a famous Admiral who once responded to the same question "enough to know that it's possible".

well put LOAF!
If she had been putting together that base when she was caught... then why didn't the kilrathi take the technology out of the base? In the clip they say she was caught planet-side. Why would she be ON Kilrah if she's putting together a base in orbit, eh? She was involved with the temblor bomb mission, just not in the way you think. She was tracking down the best spot to drop the bomb.

...oh. well then she probably was involved with setting it up... but those executed in the WC3 intro were pilots... odd.

Or just men in jumpsuits, as may have been standard when travelling in a transport. Not much alternative wear to jumpsuits other than fleet uniform (unlikely) and marine gear (they wouldn't be marines).

Depends what technology was in the base. Or if they even found the base. They may not have understood what they found - just as they didn't know what Severin knew regarding the ability to create the Tembler bomb.

You have no excuse Manic. I ate a 1/4 of a Vodka watermellon and a 1/4 of Isle of Jura single malt scotch last weekened and still made coherant posts on the boards! :p

When was that? Blair, Talon, and Maniac also had time on a Kilrathi transport... of course, no one would let Maniac go with them on such a sensitive mission. :)

Indeed... she may even have had experience piloting that ugly thing... which is probably why she was sent!

Well I never read the novels. Never had an opportunity to.
MANIC REINVENTS THE WHEEL! NEWS AT 11! :p

tsk tsk, without the novels you're in the dark on at least half of the continuity discussion going on around here. (Not what order things happened but what actually did happen continuity wise)

The true heroes are the people who can eat actual watermelons while posting to the board. People like Lietenant Johnny aceHypenOne and Commander Cpl_Hades.
