wow.. those look sweet.
I do wonder though why they look so different from the cockpits as they appear in game. Were those not taken from the final models? Or did Origin add stuff in by hand after rendering?
I'm certainly not complaining. If I were to use these I'd have to redo the cockpits I have already done for Vegastrike and shuffle around instruments, or I could photoshop in the missing stuff, or some combination of both, and I can think of far worse things. Mostly I'm just curious about the differences

It's a rather interesting look behind the scenes for me.
I suspect though that I am not meant to use these in a mod, as they are JPG. As such, the purple isn't really transparent. Of course I can paint the purple areas transparent, but the edges will all have a purple tinge to them where the cockpit is blended/antialiased with the background (see pic)
The differences
Centurion: looks the same
Tarsus: to the left of the bottom left monitor is a little box where speed is shown. In game, there is another right on top of it for set speed that's missing in the render. Also missing: at top middle two boxes for AUTO and fuel stats
Galaxy: that small monitor on the right has a twin in game on the left. Can't see the vertical box to the right of the rightmost monitor because in game it is zoomed in more. Underneath the leftmost small monitor in game are two horizontal boxes. The two vertical boxes to the left of the large monitor are not there in game, because the second small monitor is there instead. The two center monitors are closer in game (touching almost)
Orion: In game is zoomed in way more, you only see to the edges of the monitors. There are two yellow/black stripy things on the left. In game there is no central mini-monitor, instead there's a horizontal box for energy/blaster power. There is also a missing horizontal box top middle for AUTO in the shot here.
Turret: left vertical box/gauge is in game a set of buttons instead.
