hmmm, i thought that the two maniacs could not be duplicated and on meeting they would both disappear.

Even if that doesn't happen, it's still a no win situation.

Young Maniac kills old Maniac: Maniac's life ends in 2681

Old Maniac kills Young Maniac: No old Maniac, ever. :D

Besty, Raptor

But if the old Maniac kills the young Maniac, then the old Maniac will never have existed to kill the young Maniac and.....
oh no I've gone cross eyed

Not so. Both Maniacs would technically "win."

Both their goals are the same- to defeat the other and his carrier. If the universe ends due to them being in the same space/time, technically both their goals are accomplished since they both die along with their carriers.

Yay Maniac
:D

forgive me but didn't we jest go there on a nother line.
arn't paradoxes fun.:D

In this wonderful scenario, which Maniac is the "anti-Maniac?"

I would assume it to be the young Maniac, since he already existed. His space/time "signature," (his atoms & the such) micro-evolved into old Maniac, thus making his specific past "signature," nonexistant. So, the Maniac in the past is recognized by a negative "signature," in the present...!?

The old Maniac is a product of the young Maniac and if the young Maniac were to interact in the old Maniac's time, then it is the young Maniac who cancelled out the old Maniac.

Thus, making the young Maniac the "anti-Maniac?"

Also, would the overlay occur at eye-contact (direct Maniac interaction) or just by the simple presence of the young Maniac in the present...??

Hey, don't ask me. I'm still tryin' to figure how in the name of all that is holy and good the universe can support even one maniac. :D

I am actually quoting myself here :(

On the same token, they lose, since they'd both have died.

So, they win because they killed the other one, yet lose because they died by the other's hand.

and IMHO, Talyn, the universe needs more Maniacs :D

and Hellcats too.... ;)
