A thought on the Rachel Flint debate

So here I am, down two or three wingmen, I go to the bar for a drink and two babes wait for me. I have to choose. But who do I choose? I know the arguements, I've heard them all before... You need your wingmen choose Flint, just avoid them both nothing will happen, you don't need Rachel she just does loadouts.

But every time I struggle. I mean there is just SOMETHING about Rachel. She's a smart youngish woman who knows her way around the shop, yet behind that facade I sense something more. I just get this strange feeling that she wild in bed. I don 't how but I know she's an animal and that just drives me crazy. :eek: :eek:

So yet again for the umpteenth time I choose Rachel and now I find that bitch Flint bails out, wtf? What she just went AWOL in the middle of outter space. Women! Even a thousand years in the future they're just flaky when it comes to war. :mad:

Why can't I just have both? :confused:

If you want to keep Flint as a wingman but choose rachel as a girlfriend, this is possible!
You just choose Rachel & don't talk to Flint in the elevator. ;)
(Her morale will be low for a short while thereafter)

I always push them both away. Blair has to be grieving over Angel, so he should not be screwing around. ;) Besides, in the end cinematic it seems more like Blair to be riding in that shuttle by himself than with a woman.
 
I always thought Excell, one of those pilots you never really see but can fly with when your with the Border Worlds in WC4 could have been hot.
 
You know, especially considering that most people here "look down" on her line of work, thats an awfully cute picture of Ginger Lynn you posted. Good taste.

Interesting choice of words; if most people here look down on her its because she has gone down...
 
I chose Rachel, but hindsight is 20/20. Now that we can all look back at the decision from a post- WCIV viewpoint, we can see that Rachel eventually ditched Blair because of his alchohol problem- when he was at his lowest point. Flint seems like the kind of girl who would've stayed by to help him through it and give him strength. But I think Blair would be better off with Panther. Sosa would be an acceptable choice. I was also always intregued by the Intrepid's helm girl.
 
I chose neither woman, because I thought Blair was better off alone. From what I read, Blair was a pretty miserable little farmer after the war....no money, alcoholic, and with no Kilrathi to fight, well....nothing. Blair was cut to be a fighter pilot, and a life of domesticity was probably not for him. At least he was not as much a screw up as Maniac. Wasn't he married three times? I thought I read that one of his marriages lasted two or three days.
 
Anybody Blair choses is an improvement on the whole incest thing he had with Leia or the hot Man/Kitty love he had with big Hobbes :D
