Thanks. I seem to have solved the problem by disabling the in-flight music. The game still crashes VERY occasionally, but at an acceptable rate. In addition, when it crashes it only kills itself, rather than taking the whole system with it. So I'm much happier than I was yesterday...

In any case, I'm still livin' large in Crashland. :) Any further tips and suggestions are welcome. All I can think to do at this point is to disable all options that can be disabled and hope that lifts the processing burden enough that I don't crash any more. Respectfully, Brian P.
