If you haven't already, try creating a shortcut to sm1.exe (setting compatability mode to win95 or win98/Me). Did you have success with transfer?

I have this in my CFG file: "c27 C25". Anyone know what these mean? I was hoping that one of them controlled the speed for the cut scenes (too fast). Probably not, but curious, nonetheless.

Are you running under WinXP? If so, try running Transfer.exe and SM1.exe using Win95 compatabitility mode. Worked for me. Good luck.

I just finished WC1: SM1 (Kilratha Saga ver.) and would now like to transfer my character to SM2. But the transfer program only gives me an option to transfer to SM1. I'm stumped. The transfer.exe that comes with the SM2 install appears to be the same as the one that came with the SM1 install.

Thanks. I found the editor and used it to add one to the sorties and I figured I killed 8-10 cats in the finale, so I just added nine to the kills. I didn't add any unearned medals, but I might just try it once to see what the "Pewter Planet" looks like in color.:)

I recently transferred my character from WC1 to Special Missions 1 (Kilrathi Saga version). But it seems that I can only transfer from saved games in WC1, which would mean that my character is not being credited with kills, medals, etc. from the final battle in WC1, since it isn't possible to...
