Star Wars thread of great justice!

Tyrant

Spaceman
What is your favorite Star Wars ships? Can post anyone. personaly, my favorites are the Eclipse class SSD, X-wing, TIE intercepter, Imperial class, Victory class Star destroyers. Oh, with the Eclipse, I have one thing to say: Tyrantmobile FTW!:D

BTW, just say whats your favorite looking ship, no power/dicksizing contests, please.

Most ships on Star Wars always looked frail and non-functional to me. Yes, even the Star Destroyers, although I know to most people they appear as anything but.

But if I were to pick a favorite, I would definitely say the B-Wing. It's a pretty unique design, like a cross lying on its side. I get disappointed in Return of the Jedi when you only see them in brief shots while most of the attention is focused on the X-Wings which I've personally always thought to be kind of unremarkable and overrated.

Sir, for my selection: Nebulon-B Frigate, Unmodified. Looks great and hard as nails. But only in Imperial service with some TIE fighters aboard.

I'm not sure about the Nebulon-B, it almost seems like you could snap it in half with massed fire. But, from what I read, it seems like a great escort ship against fighters.(Well, before some of them defected...)
Oh, yeah, thanks for the comment about the title.:p

Though I love flying the defenders, I have to admit that they're way too overpowered craft. Faster than anything, more maneuverable and more heavily armed and armored than any other ship out there... that's just too much. There's no balance.

I've always been partial to the standard X-Wing/TIE fighters... heck, I love most of the standard fighters, From A to Y-Wing and all in between, and TIE-Int./Fgt./Bomb. I just think they come off as cool designs, though the X-Wing will always have a special place in my heart, along with Darth Vader's custom TIE Advance (I still think all TIE's should have come with bent wings).

As for capital ships, I've always preferred the Mon-Cal and Corellian classes.

And of course, the Super Star Destroyer.... that is one big bad mutha.

Very, very true. I actually disliked them so much, its the only smear I have against the TIE Fighter label.

The TIE Interceptor and the X-Wing are great looking.

However, the truly awesome ship is the SSD from TESB.

Indeed, the Executor is a piss-your-pants-with fear kind of vessel. All 11 miles of it.:D Too bad it died one of the worst deaths in Sci-fi.:(

From the movies: Imperial-Class Star Destroyer (it's just so iconic!)
From the PC games: I really liked the A-Wing
From the CCG (anybody else played this?): Victory and Imperial-Class SD (having a fleet of Star Destroyers at a system felt great!)

am I the only Tie Fighter lite fan? Its giant solar panels and slow speeds and high maneuverability make it the greatest fighter ever conceived of to show off your mad skills of the pilot. Just surviving a mission in that thing gives you a feeling of godliness!

M-E-H, I dont really like the TIE fighter too much... too underarmored, plus it lacks the decidely sleek look of the TIE interceptor, or the Avenger. Still, nice that people like imperial fighters.:)
