Pilgrim Truth novel
It's not so much as up and typing in a falsified review. It's the principle of the thing. Most people whom have respect and Morales/Principles don't want to up and lie about something they have no interest in or don't give a rats rear about.
The idea of writing a review for Telep's is so that he can try and make more money for his books and become far more popular that his curent status is. It all comes down to money. Everybody wants it and Telep's realizes that he needs more leverage which he will get if you post a review that is favorable for him and his writing styles to get more money for his books. Don't get me wrong I enjoy his WC books greatly. (All 2 of them) I would love to continue to read his books on the WC series that he started. But I don't beleive he needs our review on a book that has nothing to do with the WC series when we are obviously not interested in, "Red Planet."
Another point in fact to this; You may not want to wait for Teleps to finish his book and get it out to the store for the readers to enjoy. Try writing your own book then, you may get lucky and produce something excellent. Take some of the other Sci/Fi, Fantasy book series for instance. They are not all written by the same author, but a conglomeration of authors due to the fact people get tired of waiting and want to continue the storyline. I admit they are not all successful, but at least they are trying and they do get lucky once and a while.
Now if Telep's wanted to make money he would just get the book out there for his readers to read and not sit and stew over his wanted reviews for the "Red Planet" book. My opinion is he should just get on with writing and keep the books coming out and keep the readers happy with new and exciting story lines. That is a sure way to make money for him, plus as an added bonus he would get the reviews he is craving so he can bid for a higher contract. That way it would be a Win, Win situation.
