Where is L5

Also, what station is the one from the intro of WC3 (where Tolwyn made Blair aware of his new assignment and was a choad)?

The Victory "Museum," was in Jupiter orbit too, right...??

Bandit LOAF: Thanks. Suicide Darket? I'm not doubting you but the explosives they must've packed into that fighter must've beeen a real whopper

It wasn't full of explosives... it was just a Darket that rammed the station...

In space- real life space- when big things (especially ones with serated edges) ram into bigger things, they rip into it, tearing a hole. That's usually called a "hull breach." Funny, how decompression should come up again, since everything inside will be sucked through the hole into the vacuum of space.

HOW COM WEN I RAMM TEH VIKTOREE IT DOSN'T BLO AWAY??

Because it's a game and things like being far enough away to just get tapped by the shockwave of an exploding planet conveniently happen. Also, Seether's space mine trick comes to mind.

BWA HAHA!! Sorry if I came off as a smart@$$... I couldn't miss the opportunity! Givin' ya' some of that Maniac Magic ;)

The novel states that when the Darket hit, it went up in a bay that was full of fighters that were fully fuelled and armed. The explosion set off a chain reaction and started a massive fire that swept through the station.

Ouch. That really, really sucks. That sucks worse than decompressing....

I think I am in over my head here,
I don't get the 2001 reference.
I checked and a LaGrange point is a real phenomena where the gravity of two large objects cancels each other
apologies, i thought that LaGrange points were fictional :o

The 2001 reference is just pointing out that Jupiter is in 2001. i.e. I-War invented LaGrange points in the same fashion that 2001 invented Jupiter - it didn't.
LaGrange points are often found sci-fiction that isn't too high-tech. Probably the most prominent use of them is in Mobile Suit Gundam, where the various Sides (where the clusters of colony cylinders are located) are each located at the various LaGrange points.
The numbers all help determine where each point is found, but I can't remember which ones go where off the top of my head.

thanks for clearing that up junior,
from askjeeves.com
"There are five LaGrange points for any orbiting body [from the sun], L1 L2 and L3 lie along a line connecting the two bodies, for example, along a line from the Sun to the Orbiting Earth. These points are unstable as, although objects may remain in them forever, if there are any disturbances (In real space there will be) the object will be moved away from them. The L4 and L5 points lie 60 degrees ahead and behind of the orbiting body respectively. They are stable, so that if an object is disturbed, it will oscillate back towards the LaGrange Point."

A: - TCS Tiger Claw = stealth mode
Just being picky: I'm sure any ship can go into 'stealth' of some sort simply by shutting down virtually everything but life support.

Cloaking is a different matter, and even though the Excalibur far outclasses the Strakha, it should be remembered that it was only equipped with a 'single'-use Shroud and not the stronger Blackfish used on the Lance/Dragon. Heh, heh. Single use, indeed. :)

Oh, no Mr. Wedge you can use it twice, in the space just before entering Kilrah and when you are in the *trench* :p
