Announcing The CIC's 18th Birthday Party! (June 18, 2016)

The middle of the year is fast approaching, and that means one thing here: it's almost time for the CIC Birthday! We now hold the event on a Saturday near to the actual anniversary, and this year we've selected August 13. Most old timers know the drill, and they'll tell you that the party is a blast! If you've never used IRC chat before, it's easy to get started with our simple web interface. Feel free to stop by and get acquainted any time. So what's the best live streaming option for something like this? Is Twitch overkill? Is a Google Hangout organized enough to keep things together? Is Facebook Pages or Periscope easier?

I've actually been thinking about this.. a twitch channel for the CIC might just be the ticket. it'd be a lot of work to manage though.. but I guess for use with pre planned events it could be pretty good google hangouts is nowhere near as stable as twitch.
