Wing Commander & Secret Missions Storyline

Yup. Calvinism was, and still is, another sect of Christianity. It's main idea is that the destination of one's soul in the afterlife is already predetermined, but states that one should maintain 'goodness'. It's kinda weird if you ask me.

Calvinism's 11th commandment?

...and once thoust hath alighted to heaven, thoust shall be rewarded with thine very own tiger named Hobbes...

:D

Also my signatures the best...

A sect of christianity with wired ideas , how unusual  .
Calvin & Hobbes was the best, nothing else lines the walls of a philosophy department quite like it.

p.s: Not that I have anything against christians of course. Just thought I should make that clear.

Hobbes was named after a Philosopher, as was Calvin. No one rememberd "Calvinism" from High School History?

... no, it just has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of the thread, which is where Ralgha's name came from.

It was an aside to the posted subject.

Besides, I think theres worse topic drift elsewhere on this board.

Actually , it's not a "sect" (find me a church named "First Calvinist Church" in any large city, 4X...). It's merely a particular *doctrine*, one which many people do not accept, at least in it's entirety...

Calvin and hobbes?

The comic strip? What does this have to do with Wing commander lol..........I really miss calvin and hobbes though

Because of my user name, people started talking about Hobbes, the double agent, and how he got his name. All I can say is, do these people even HAVE jobs?

Or families, or lives for that matter?

I assure you, good sir, that the only difference between yourself and the other people in this thread is that they all have three digit IQs.

What, you dont think Spaceman Spiff would make a good pilot for the Confederation? On the other hand he WAS always getting shot down and ambushed on planets...

One more difference. I might have more social skills.
P.S. My IQ is 143.

I think your reaction to this thread easily disproves both of those statements.
