Wing Commander IV Storyboards - Scene 137 (November 20, 2010)

Bandit LOAF

Long Live the Confederation!
Scene 137 is another great jumping scene showing the Lexington's move to Silenos--I could look at these simplified drawings of Wing Commander carriers forever.

These storyboard images were recovered from a backup CD containing materials belonging to Origin's web development team. They were dated November 17, 1995 and were likely planned for a never-completed web feature.

Don't you mean the Vesuvius instead of the Lexington ?

...I can read the text and it does say Lexington, but those sharp angles really cry out Vesuvius class.

It is the Lexington, as you said, that's pretty clear in the description. Yes, it does look like the Vesuvius in terms of the carrier's shape, but for the purpose of the story-board, the artist wouldn't necessarily have to draw super-accurate copies of the Concordia class, would he/she?

Pardon, mon ami, I wasn't having a go at you, just pointing out that it really is the Lexington despite what the artist drew. (:

Argh, stop with the backwards smileys. They're so confusing reading like a normal human and expecting a parenthetical to start.

I had no idea they bothered you so much, LOAF. I'm sorry. It's an idiosyncrasy I picked it up from... someone special. But if they annoy you that much, then I will stop. :(

But in a world without backwards-smileys, what emoticon will we use for aghast mouth-drooping?! D:

It's okay, I'm not really serious. They do parse strangely, but I wouldn't really make you change them.

I'm pretty sure that's the emoticon for I Have No Mouth and There's a Big Watermelon Slice on My Head.
