Wing Commander in Win2000

Has anyone managed to get Kilrathi Saga's WC1 to work under Win2k? WC2&3 work fine, but WC1 crashes out of the game after the intro.

Anyone managed to fix this, or any other WC game with Win2k problems?

Win2k problems

Seems you have done well, I can't get WC4 or WC3 to even load let alone play.
Can you give me any tips on how to install the games.

I have P3 650 ( 715) , 512MB ram, ATI All in Wonder 128
Win2k Pro - Hard disks are set up with NTFS on C and FAT32 on D drives
