Wing Commander Concert On Hold (August 12, 2013)

We've got a disappointing update on the Wing Commander music that was scheduled to be performed in October by the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Event management decided it was not similar enough in theme to the Superheroes selections on the program, and so the WC portion has been removed. The good news is that the arrangement may be included in a future concert. Veteran composer George Oldziey is actively pursuing an alternative showing, and we're very appreciative of how dedicated he is to this endeavor! We'll have more information as soon as it's available - stay tuned, Wingnuts!

I am of course deeply disappointed of the decision, as I finished the orchestration in plenty of time, and had the score and parts prepared specifically for the October concert. I apologize to all WC fans around the country who were planning on attending the show.
