Isn't it possible that someone made a rom of the unreleased game? I think I've had a few NES roms like that myself over the years.

The only known dump are:

There is probably a WC2 version in a safe at EA somewhere...

Oh, well. Like I said before, at least we have the actual PC versions. That's better than any port, in my opinion.

Same thing here. I actually prefer the original vs the KS version. I don't really know why. Maybe nostalgia...

I have the originals of WC's 1 2 and 3, but I prefer to play the Ksaga because it actually RUNS ON MY MACHINE. Or, at least, it did until my machine became a forgetfull anus.

I would like to hear the music from Privateer done by an orchestra. That would rock. I still remember how thrilling it was to hear the dogfight music from WC1 with the 'full orchestra' sound (even thought it wasn't an actual orchestra recording)

To hear any WC music with a live orchestra would be nice, but it's obscenely expensive.
