who is the worst comm officer ?????

It's a fairly known bug... Several people have mentioned it before, and they had different characters appearing instead of Thrak (I had Blair appear once, and it was cool seing Blair talking to himself:)).
 
well, we got naked com officers on WC II, a ship with a duple personalety in WC IV (the vesuvius sometimes have a 02 on it), man does Origin see the images before sending the game or what, well I going to play WC P and see if there is a hiden Stilleto nude part on it.

Actually, it's not really blue... more like a bluish white...

Oh, and before you all start considering me really weird... or at least weirdER than you previously thought, these "naked" characters are actually just faces with bare shoulders.
 
My gess is that they draw the shoulders first and did the uniforms over shoulders later and forget to remove that part from the files.
Or it was to be the first nudist ship in ConFed history but since it would be rated +18....
 
Who knows maybe Origin was planning WingCommander: Undressed, the first Interactive Animated Computer Pornographic Experience. But all I can say is whoa that is truely disturbing
 
This is funky. I thought for SURE that I was the only one who had seen this bug. Oh well. That's better than everybody calling me a liar, or thinking I'm insane.
 
With all this talk about "Lemon Lips" Garr, it seems that Wing Commander 4.123106 was quite a hit. I myself enjoyed the story for the most part, but the ending was somewhat disturbing.
 
EXACTLY, except that 1/2 of them were men at one point making it kinda...interesting...but if your into that thing go for it Earthworm!! and You too Clint!!

And what's this deal with 'naked' WC2 characters? I only ever got the bug where it showed different faces, even a headless Thrak.

BTW, I think "Earthworm" Blair ended up going to Elysion, or something like that. If he went to Telefon, he would have turned into a woman too.

The ending disturbed me too, but later I realised it suited it because it is, after all, only fan 'fiction'.
 
No, because HE HAVE THE ANTIDOTE, yes a planet full of womens without any mens around, damn good ending.

Wow! Where'd you get that?
I belive his name is mentioned somewhere in Prophecy, perhaps during one of the loosing cutscenes, but don't hold me on that. Meanwhile, his name is most definetly present in the Prophecy Guide, in that nice little section called "Biographies".:)

I take it this 'guide' is a separate publication and not the ICIS manual. Man, this sucks having all the info in guides and not the manuals. They managed it well in Claw Marks and Victory Streak.
