Planet Crete is located in the Omicron Theta star system and is the homeworld of the Corsair priate orginization. Unless the Corsairs are neutral or frendly towards towards you, it would be wise to steer clear of this system as the Corsairs have some of the best weapons and ships in the game.
If you are on bad terms with the Corsairs, my advice is to talk to one of the Zoners on Freeport 9 and have them hack your record (bribe them).
A quick route to Omicron Gamma looks like this:
Sigma 17 -> Omicron Theta -> Omicron Gamma
This isn't the only way to get there, but it is argubly the safest. Be advised there are no trade lanes or jump gates in this system, so you will have to use your cruise engines and hunt for the jump holes.
