Now I truly have no idea if UE would work with the main package of SO or not but I suppose I should find out
Anyway can anyone forsee any legal problems if UE were to work without the non-freely distributed additional episodes (there shouldn't be but I do remember back in the days of Doom ID software complaining about anyone who made their addons compataible with the shareware game but I haven't heard enough from Origin or EA to know what their position would be).
 
I don't think that would be a problem.

In fact, I advise you to do everything you can to make it work with just the main package.
 
Yeah UE is very close, we're just cleaning up the missions and awaiting certain media eg voice overs.

I think the mission cleaning is almost done, I finally played mission 10 to the end (and enjoyed it immesley)
 
Somehow I doubt they care,have you asked a tech question lately. I did, I'm one of those poor souls trying to play WC3 on winME.I got a better answer talking to the box it came in.:(
 
No I got an answer, "We can't help you,try an older computer,and thank you for being an EA/Origin customer."I should'nt have even bothered I should have just gone to the tech forum.

Last time I e-mailed them they did the same thing they did to Thymerlord. Well... not exactly, but they just said the same thing with more words ;)
 
Yeah they threw some stuff in about we have no plans to make our older games compatible with windows ME blah,blah,blah.I guess I could join in on the Gates bashing but you never know who might be reading:D
 
Yes, but does WC3KS run any better than WC3DOS on WinME?

And what are you offering to do regarding KS, Mav?
 
I would assume WC-3 runs better.

And I was offering to sell it to him at a lower price, not off of e-bay or anything, why do you ask Wedge?
