What ever happened to the good old FMV?

Star Trek: Borg had a combo of good and bad acting. John de Lance was in it and he played Q very well. There were also a few other actors in that game that were quite good. As for the rest, lets just say it could have been better. ;)
 
Proper dubbing is more a credit to the sound engineer (or whoever) who's responsible for putting the dub and the video together. They speed up and slow down and edit and what-not until the lips match perfectly.

Furthermore, IIRC, the vast majority of dialogue in movies is re-dubbed after the footage is filmed.
 
FMV Games

While WCIII/IV were close to being FMV games, they were stll space sims. Does anybody like/remember any good FMV games? Spycraft comes to mind, but I can't think of many others. Biohazard wasn't great. What made WCIII/IV so successfull was that they were still games, not just interactive movies, IMO.
