WCP Movies problem

Well I just got my original copy of WCP, and I install it, but the viseo suck, they don't look well, cut, frame skips, sound sucks, what can i do to fix them

I gor a AMD 1Ghz pc with 256 on ram
TNT2 m64 video cars and a
Sound blaster live

any idea

Assuming ME is similar enough to 9x that everything's in the same place...

Run the program dxdiag.exe (in c:\windows\system... if it's not there, use Find to search for it). Click on the Sound tab and turn down hardware acceleration all the way.

Then, go to the Control Panel, open up the Multimedia control panel. Click on 'Advanced Properties' in the playback section. Click on the 'Performace' tab. Turn down hardware acceleration all the way.

Bang, you're done. WCP should work right now.

What's really *really* funny is that I answered this same question from someone else yesterday. In this forum. I'm glad people are keeping up to date.
