WCP GBA Treasure Hunt

I've been stuck on this mission for a while now, I think I've flown to all 3 buoys but nothing happens, I just land on the midway and get mission failed, what am I supposed to be doing? Have I unfortunatley each time only visited 2 buoys (when u reach one the other 2 seem to be in exactly the same point on the radar).

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
 
I don't think I had any problem in particular with this mission, but it's been a while since I played it.. I think it is against the clock though, so I think you have to destroy all enemies before the timer counts to 0.
 
Okay

When you get to the buoys you are suppose to destroy all the enemies first and then look for it. But if you do that than chances are that Stilletto will beat you and find it first. So what I do is kill all of them but one and leave the last one for her. That way I get a bit of a head-start to look for it and find it.

In the Game Guide it'll tell you that its ALWAYS one of the tripod looking buoys.

You will know when you've found it because that little British landing dude will pop up on screen and say "Good job Casey".
 
Spent the week at my girlfriends and accidentally left my GBA behind (she even has her own, and a GCN) but the catridge was in that so no playing :P

Long trip with my mates to Alton Towers tommorow so plenty of time to perfect the mission :) Thanks I'd be doing the WCP thing and scanning them after taking out only a few fighters, certainly not all.
