WCIII Movies

I have WCIII for DOS and a 750 Mhz computer. I tried running WCIII in a window with moslo/turbo/cpukill. No matter what I do, the movies play superfast for about a second, then freeze until I hit the escape button. The other screens still work though, just like normal. Oh, BTW, does anyone know what happened to the WC real-time strategy fan project?

Hmm....

Try playing the game from pure DOS (outside of the Windows environment).

I think that that is actually a soundcard problem! I can't remember how to fix it, but I think loaf had that problem. Try and get a hold of him and see what he knows....

That's easy enough to test; install the game with No Sound and see if it works.
