Wc4 Dvd

I am having a similar problem as other people (yes, this is Antman BTW, my account is not working).

I am running Windows XP, and I have no Mpeg Decoder Card. How can I run the WC4 DVD? I get the Missing Movie error.
 
That's the problem.. WC4 was designed to require a decoder card.. Either DXR2/3 or the real magic one.
 
You can still watch the movie with DVD playing software. There's a list of scenes on the CIC.
 
It's interesting - I was playing the videos on WinDVD using the digital out (I bought an AV receiver for my PC). It's nice to rewatch the scenes in Dolby Digital :D.

Too bad though that WinDVD can't play it continually - there's always a pause where my receiver drops from DD mode to Pro-Logic, and I miss the first second or two of the video until the receiver re-syncs. D'oh.

I just wonder if I were to play it for real, if this would happen to. It's slightly annoying, but oh well. It sounds great! :D
