WC3KS sound problem

I'm having a problem with WC3 in the Kilrathi Saga on my pc at school. The sound during the movies is all screwed up. It goes in and out constantly. my sound card is a TBS Montego II that uses SB Pro Emulation, and I'm running Win98 with DirectX 8.0. You guys have any idea whats wrong? Thanks

Well, I'm not so sure that card will be all that compatible with KS.. but you should try older versions of DirectX. KS comes with DX2 I believe. Try toggling things like full duplex and hardware acceleration for your sound card as well.
 
Better to try disabling hardware acceleration on your sound card. To do that, go to C:\Program Files\DirectX\Setup\ and run DXDIAG.EXE. Go to the Sound tab and disable acceleration.
