I have discovered that my wc3 problem is caused by the emm386 memory manager; whenever this is loaded, the game will not even install. It is configured with the "RAM" option but when I type wc3 (or wc3 -i) at the install it causes the computer to freeze. Whenever I shut down emm386 and reboot the game installs just fine--but since I have an SB audigy I can't get sound because the SB16 emmulation requires a memory manager to be loaded...grrrrrr....If anybody has a solution this problem, please post as I'm dying to play one of my favorite games again. And if worst comes to worst, does anyone know of a soundcard I could get that doesn't require a memory manager to work? Thanks.
