WC3 Media Extraction REDUX (Screenshots)

OK, finally got my copy of WC3 in the mail. Still so fun after all these years! So... after tearing myself away from playing it I delved into some of the problems discussed in my previous post.

First off, I've been trying to take screenshots - of ANYTHING - in SVGA mode in WC3. Can't get movies, inflight, or menu screens. I have tried 2 different versions of screen thief (dos & windows) HyperSnap, SuperClip, Snagit, and a few others. I get nothing but black. Alt-esc'ing out of the app doesn't work for a standard desktop PrintScreen capture, because the images don't show up in the dos window.

Sooooo - has anyone ever had any luck getting ingame SVGA screenshots with WC3? If so, what app did you use?

Again, any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Back when I needed screenshots in DOS, I used a program called PCXDump (I still use it for Privateer and Armada and such...).

The Kilrathi Saga WC3, of course, supports DirectX and HyperSnap.
