WC3 Limited Edition

Since a friend of mine told me that he could get his hands on a WC3 Limited Edition but had no use for it (he is ignorant when it comes to WC, only interested in ego shooters!

) he asked me if I wanted to buy it. Before I definitively give him an answer I have a few questions:
(now, let's see if the new UBB functions work)

There are two different Wing Commander 3 special editions -- the one you could order from EA Direct and the one you could buy from SAMs Club. The latter does not include all of these things...
o Normal WC3 stuff (CDs, Victory Streak).
o WC3 T-Shirt
o 1995 WC calander.
o Making of VHS casette.
o Behind the Screens CD.
o Small WC3 Poster (folded).
o Copy of Fleet Action.
o Color version of the 'Warbirds' chart.
o Film can box (the Sam's Club version has a slightly different film can box, with cardboard edges).

There are a number of other WC special editions... There's a version of WC1 which came with a pen and a hat, a version of Prophecy which came with a CD single and a special hint book, a version of Privateer II that came with a poster and a cloth patch... a version of WC3 that came with just the making of and a nice huge rolled WC3 poster...

I just got the normal version...
The CDs, manual, victory streak...

And was a double hell to setup...

Victory Streak is the black manual that comes with Wing 3. The Warboards poster is the fold out two-sided chart of all the fighters of the game.

Anyway, this regional coding stuff won't be around for a long time anymore,I think. On TV they talked about abandoning it soon.
Reasons given:
1. It isn't illegal to use cracking software for the code
2. The big movie distributors are thinking about narrowing the release gap between the US and Europe, so there would be no need for the code anymore
