I'm having trouble getting my joystick to work in WC3. It's fine until I go to fly a mission or try to calibrate it. Once I get in the mission, my joystick will not let me move, and is autofiring (as though you were holding down the trigger). In the calibration mode, the same thing happens. The joystick will not move, and it zips through calibration because its autofiring somehow. I tried installing the alternate joystick rutines file from the Files page, but it didn't make any difference. I'm using a Sidewinder pro, and Windows 98, running WC3 using "Run MS-DOS Applications". If anyone has any ideas for what I can do to make the joystick work, it would be helpful. Thanks.
 
It uses the MIDI/Game Device port. I don't know if it works for other DOS games - WC is the only DOS game I still have.

It works *fairly* well in WC4 (DOS Version). It jumps sometimes, but it's not so bad that I don't have any control. And it doesn't autofire in WC4.
