KS is extremely easy to install.. WC2 may take some work if you have some sort of conflict, but otherwise isn't too bad.

If you are using XP, it's quite simple in most cases. Make it compatible to Win95 or Win98/Me, then go to DXDiag and set sound accel. to zero. Also, unplug any USB joystick.

It didn't work here without it. But Yeah, it's a good idea to try it later.

My friend got Privateer and WC2 to run in Win98, a little sped up at times but mostly runs pretty good.

Clarify - do you mean within Windows, or a Windows DOS boot?

I don't know extactly what machine I have.All I know is that is has Win98 Operating System and it has 'IBM Thinkpad' printed on the front.Oh! I know it's a labtop too.

But My thinking is that if WCP will run than WC2 will in MS-DOS.

ah just because that WC2 is older and less space for RAM and Harddrive requirements to play.
