The frigate looks a little bit like the ship from Stargate Atlantis ^_^
and I don't think it fits in so very well like the other ship...think it was the battleship you showed earlier.
Maybe you could get some ship from academy to fill in the ship classes you need.
Else...I don't know how old the Ranger and Caernaven designs are, but I think it was mentioned that they where quite old designs.
 
Yeah, I strongly suggest you don't just "create" classes of ships just because you want to. There's plenty of established WC canon ships to pick from for your mod. If you need background information just ask here...there's a wealth of knowledge to pick from.
 
i was actually considering using the manassas, but it is already in rat's mod and it doesn't really fit the wc1 style. as for the frigate, there is none that i know of...
 
WC1 has a good number of shipt types to choose from...just to name a few:

Bengal
Exeter
Venture
Gettysburg


Those four types should meet just about any role you need to use...
 
We already have the Bengal, Exeter, and Gettysburg. A Venture corvette wouldn't be bad but I don't think we have any plans for one as of right now.
 
we have, i'm just going through the classes(more or less) top to bottom. the fralti is coming, as is the spikieri and the venture. we might even see the scimitar after all, because we're lacking a pre-rapier medium fighter
