WC Prophecy on XP

Anyone have a patch to get Prophecy to run correctly on XP?
 
I have gotten Prophecy to install/run on my XP machine tonight. I installed as normal, then applied the resolution and lens flare files from this site.

The videos will not play correctly (it's like they are on fast-forward), but gameplay is just fine. I literally found this site 20 minutes ago, so I haven't looked for a slowdown utility just yet.

WCP doesn't especially like XP. You need to set it to run in Win 9X compatibility mode - right-click the shortcut, select properties, compatibility, and then set it to run either in Win 95/98 or ME mode.

As for the skipping cutscenes, it's a problem that WCP has with sound acceleration. If you run dxdiag and disable all sound acceleration, the cutscenes will work fine.
 
I found the other threads about the problems. I set the DX sound acceleration as suggested and ran in Win 98 mode. Seems to run great so far.
