WC Novel Petition!

There's not really anything evil about wanting to make money... or in this case, not wanting to lose money.

Still, it prevents fans from getting novels, greed or not.

Still, it is better than reading WC novels that are completel crap, like a good deal of the Star Wars novels.

I am not too privy to the fiscal information on the WC novels. Did they not sell well?

Oh, come on, now, don't pick on Kevin J. Anderson! ;)

Personally, I enjoyed Darksaber and the Jedi Academy Trilogy. I also enjoyed his X-Files novels and House Atreides and House Harkonnen.

Whoa! You read those two "bricks" entirely!? (in Italian, a "brick" is a very thick book)

I admire you! Glad you did enjoy them! :)

I'm sure they must be! The movie was awesome, as was the game... I'm ready to rest on those guarantees for the quality of the book (beyond the New York Times and Washington Post reviews on the back cover <G> )...

I didn'y know they made a movie out of the Star Wars novels. :) Or did you mean Dune? Didn't Frank whats-his-name write Dune? And aren't there two versions?

Ack, sorry...gotta cut down on the Carbonated Sugar Water... :D

Hes talking about Dune. Frank Herbert wrote like 5 Dune books. And now his son has written these "prequel" books, which my best friend says arent as good, but they are interesting.

Apparently not. :)

Frank Herbert wrote six Dune books... his son and KJA have written (so far) two more -- which aren't bad.

It`s true that after House Corrino they will write a new trilogy set in the time of *The Butlerian Jihad* ?????

It depends from the quality of writer-qualities, which not everybody owns.:)
So only a few people are really good .
But I cannot judge whom. I don't understand enough.

Well I think Fortschen doesn't need any more try-outs on that field... :)

Everyone says that I'm a "GREAT!" writer, but for some reason, I just get bored and can't write a HUGE book, the closest I got was a short story I wrote about a man arriving in a different universe, and I still haven't written all the bugs out of that one.
