Does tractoring in ejected pilots do anything as far as intangibles, like Ship Morale or how many fighters you face in the last few missions? I just wanted to know because I keep doing it and it seems to me to serve absolutlely no purpose...

Nope, the only tractored pilots that matter are Catscratch and the barfly whose name I forget offhand (if you fly the mission before his questioning with a tractor-capable ship, you get a chance to grab him, IIRC)

You also have to tractor in the MIPs of course, even though they don't count as pilots.
