WC III (dos ver) in Win 2k question

I have tried to get it to play using 2 patches (one for the KS ver) and it works with one problem. After the video cutscenes finish, sometimes the cursor locks up, and I can't get it to move. (happens faster if I skip the sequences, but always happens within 2-3 minutes, reguardless wether I skip em or not) can anyone help me out?

Welcome in the club. That is a very common problem, and there is no general fix for it yet.
Check out this thread, maybe some tips there fix it for you. - For me they didn't
