WC I...newbie needs help...

You can only fly w/ maniac for a few missions.

I mean that there is a set of mission in WCI in which i play with Maniac because the computer says so.

Yeah, those are the only ones you get to fly w/ him on. You can't actually choose, until wing 3.

And if you end up flying with Maniac in WC1, it's because you screwed up.

I don't think so, but I might be wrong.

You fly with Maniac in Brimstone if you lose Series 2, in McAuliffe. In SM1, you only fly with him in the Retreat path, which leads irrevocably to a loss. The only exception is the last, winning series in SM2, but that is only because it is identical to the losing series.

I may have to go check that out myself. It gives me an excuse to play WC1 again.
