Yeah, I don't get that. The old casting thread mentioned Jake Busey for the role of Maniac. Not a bad call. Except, isn't Maniac supposed to be a tad bit dashing?

I always thought Reese Witherspoon was the main character for Legally Blonde 1 and 2, but I guess I was just brainwashed the entire time :(

Being japanese is an integral part of her charachter. Maniac is from Proxima.

And yes, there can be a latin Mariko Tanaka. Why not? A japanese guy can't marry a spanish girl? Be open minded, it's the 2600's.
