Hello Folks !!!!

I have founded a very old copy of WC Armada, and i want, if you can, to put here some of the Background of the game, i.e: Year,Ships,what to do, etc.

It's 2669, and you're in command of either the Terran TCS Lexington or the Kilrathi KIS Shiraak... you have to lead your forces to victory either through a stragic turn-based war-game or by flying through 15 missions of a gauntlet. In the turn based game, you have to go through 11 sectors to attack the enemy homeworld -- you build factories and ships and forts and mines and such in systems you take over...

There are 14 ships in the game, 7 for each side... including 10 flyable fighters, 2 carriers and 2 transports.
 
Right... in the real WC timeline, the two carriers destroyed eachother and were never heard from again. :)
 
It is me or The ABurner vel of the Arrow is 2000 or something, and what Banshee comes first, the BW or the Armada
 
Me too, but the graphic aren´t so good in comparison to WC3,Is the engine a pre version of the WC3 ???
 
Armada uses RealSpace, the same engine used for WC3/4. It just doesn't look as good because it only runs at VGA resolution.
 
Ive got Armada working on my LAN using the Dos NetBios drivers. Works excellent. And its fun when you got both machines running split screen and 4 people going at it!

I played it multiplayers years ago...
If I remember well it works with an ipx driver. I don't remember having any difficulties. Maybe some low memory pbs, but it was dos...
It was great ! I loved the kilrathi cloaked fighter ! :D

Yes you're right ! Know I remember. But netbios is above ipx so you have to launch ipx first. And of course all of these drivers use memory :(
