Using a throttle in WC:KS

Sure; put the Sidewinder aside and get yerself a Saitek X36 or X45 combo. You can configure throttle to work with pretty much any game from there...
 
What kind of Sidewinder is it? The Sidewinder software lets you bind buttons to keyboard presses. I have the precision pro with some 16 buttons (if you include "switched" mode). I had my profiles set up so that buttons C and B worked the throttle in games that didn't support one.
