Does anyone knows why don´t any of the newer Confed fighters have rear turrets, like the Sabre, Longbow, Broadsword (which also had side turrets)? Is there an official explanation for that?
 
Where have you been. The Devestator, Shrike, Thunderbolt, Longbow, Crossbow, all of them have rear turrets.
The Devestator and Shrike even have top, bottom, and/or side turrets.
 
Mental blank.
I started playing WCP yesterday after 3 years and I did not get to the Shrike missions yet.
It may not look like, but I have indeed played ALL WC games, and I own WC1, WC2, WC3, WC4, WCP, Priv 1 and 2 and all of their add-ons. That´s what my memory gives me after 10 hours of work at the office today. Jeez...

no, I bought all of them in the USA or had someone, who went there, to buy them for me. It was cheaper at the time and my father was in a job where he went 3-5 times a year to the United States.

I´ve seen the Brazilian WC games, sold by BraSoft (www.brasoft.com.br) here. Since WC3 the games come with manual, cover and subtitles in Portuguese. WC1 and 2 and Privateer are all in English.
 
I share the games (all but WC3 and WC4) with a cousin, 50/50. Each one pays half and stays a few months with the game and then we exchange them...

It´s been a while since we bought the last one, though... :(

That's nothing. Believe it or not, there was a tech college in Australia that originally planned to call itself the Sydney Higher Institute of Technology. Imagine telling someone that you got a SHIT degree. :D

My wcp is a brazilian version
the manual and map are in portuguese, but not the game....or is there a portuguese subtitle option?

I never use it :)
translations tend to be stupid and i was afraid they would translate the ship and missile names

I already saw some odd translations in the wcp manual that scared me enough
Thankfuly, they didnt translate the system names :)
