Today's Privateer 3 screenshots show an AI Vaktoth class light fighter in various stages of development--from the initial mesh through texturing to an action scene! It's not known if this is supposed to be the same Vaktoth seen in Wing Commander III and Prophecy... it certainly looks different!

I believe signs point to it being intended as a Civilian fighter? IE, a bunch of human civvies would be flying them cause the Kilrathi would sell to anyone / the design was copied after the war?

The paintjob looks prety Kilrathi to me - compare it to the Kilrathi ships from Privateer 1.

A very interesting and cool design. But I would rather call it "Vaktoth II" (like the Rapier and Rapier II).
