I couple weeks ago I talked to guy in the UK who works for an Airsoft gun dealer/customizing company. I asked him about the possibility of paying his company to build WCM airsoft guns. I sent along some pictures I scanned from the Confed handbook. He said he couldn't figure out how to even start on such a gun, my idea was mainly cosmetic changes to existing guns.
But I did find out what the propmasters used for the movie weapons.
The pistols were military issue Berreta M9s, a Berreta 92fs with a different grip and hammer. Then of course there were cosmetic elements added to the front end.
The assault rifles were based on AK-47s with FAMAS magazines and no stock.
The grenade launchers were probably just useless cosmetic bolt ons, though I can't be totally sure without having seen the sequences cut from the film to see if they actually fired them.
Well I just thought I'd kick that out for everybodies consideration.
